If you want to read bizarre remarks on the victims of the hurricane, try this from Randall Robinson:

"It is reported that black hurricane victims in New Orleans have begun eating corpses to survive. Four days after the storm, thousands of blacks in New Orleans are dying like dogs. No-one has come to help them."

UPDATE: Robinson retracted the statement (but not the rest of his rant.) He had been told that, he says, so, presumably it is someone else's fault. That he would believe anything so preposterous and so obviously racist says a lot about his credibility. Why are blacks so ill-served by such people?
