Tolerance, Diligence, and Fairness

An editorial in the leftwing Toronto Star urging restraint in judging the suspected terrorists makes you wonder why the MSM won't give the police and troops the same level of respect they reserve for terrorists.
However, there are two overriding realities that must be remembered by everyone who is interested in the safety and security of this nation.
First, all 17 who were arrested are innocent until found guilty in a court of law. And second, if Canada is to fight those who want to unleash acts of terrorism against us, we all will be compelled to draw upon the best of what Canada has represented over the decades -- diligence and fairness.
I won't bore you with their campaign against the Toronto police, nor their savage editorials against the U.S. Suffice it to say, this tolerance, diligence, and fairness is completely uncharacteristic of them.
