America's Fault

The French are unable to bribe convince the terrorists to release two French journalists. So it's America's fault if you believe the Chicago Tribune story. U.S. accused of disrupting talks on French hostages

How exactly are they doing that? A weekend attack by U.S. and Iraqi forces. "Le Figaro, the paper that Malbrunot works for, quoted a senior Iraqi cleric who said the assault on Latifiya had "perturbed the process of liberating" the two journalists."

As always, America's fault. Not French duplicty. Not French moral ambiguity that doesn't mind dealing with rogue Arab and French states as long as they supply cheap oil and buy French arms. Not French refusal to assimilate 5 million Muslims because they provide cheap labor. Never France to blame for the chronic unemployment in France, the bloated bureaucracies, the poor currency. Never France to blame.
