The fence is reviled by the Internationalists because the separation of the area from Israel will prove that despite hundreds of millions of Euros from the EU and millions more from Arabic countries that the PLO has absolutely no ability to run a country. Palestine isn't a state, it's a fantasy. It's an excuse to wage a proxy war against the United States, largely funded by the EU. And the reality of a non-existant Palestine is beginning to be acknowledged.

Palestinian police chief kidnapped
Earlier in the year he was assaulted in his office by a group of men loyal to the previous Palestinian security chief. In April he survived a bombing when his home was attacked by Palestinian gunmen. Yesterday the chief of police for the Gaza Strip and the West Bank was kidnapped at gunpoint and his bodyguards wounded. The article speculated:
