Big Brother in Canada

Only in P.C. Canada could a sports commentator be described as "popular but controversal"  and censured for, get this, describing the:
publicly subsidized CBC as government-owned and blaming French Canadians for the booing of the U.S. anthem at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

For the utterance of those sentiments,  his  broadcasts are on a time delay  in case he should decide to utter some other home truths.

If you ever wondered what life would be like in the U.S. if liberals were unopposed as the Liberals are in Canada, here it is.   Free speech for me and Al-Jazeera, but not for thee.  The real wonder is that he wasn't jailed for his crime.  Would anyone in Canada actually protest?
