Canada is far too corrupt to let the Liberals steal truth too.
Comment found on Angry in the Great White North about the ban on testimony at the Gomery inquiry on the Sponsorship scandal. A Canadian judge ruled that the testimony could not be published as it might be "prejudicial" to the trials of the trio of men at the heart of the scandal. The testimony has been leaked by an American blogger and Canadian bloggers are following the lead and printing the story themselves, but not without reservation. They know the corruption of their government and the corruption of their judiciary. You might expect something like this from a former satellite country just finding the sweet air of freedom. But from Canada?

If you have followed Canadian politics at all in the last ten years, you know it was there all along. From the $1.5 billion (with a B) gun registry boondoggle to the Sponsorship Scandal to the hijinks of the Liberal-appointed Supreme Court, the involvement of Canada under the Liberals in the Food for Oil theft (call it what it is) Canada has, under the Liberals, joined the ranks of Third World Corrupt countries that ought to be on some Mafia-friendly list.

Yeah Canada has become a third world country and we have the immigrants to prove it too!

Yup. Have heard that one before. All the problems facing Canada at the moment are because of immigrants.

Never mind that EACH AND EVERY scandal has been generated by the benevolent and caring homegrown white man.

Never mind the fact that this homegrown white man was at one time the child of immigrant parents.

Never mind that this country sustains it's economic growth only because of immigrants.

Grow up man...we are not here to pollute your Aryan race, we are here for a better life and help make this country better than it is now.

PS : And OF COURSE you chose to remain anonymous.

My sentiments exactly Anurag Sharma. There is no room for ethnocentrism and racism in the world anymore.

I am ashamed that you are called a Canadian 'Anonymous'.

Let's face it. Immigrants are imported voters and constituents. Here in the U.S. and in Canada, and the E.U.

That is not "racist" or "biased" or "ethnocentric." It is the truth. It is a deliberate policy in most major U.S. cities to disguise the flight from crime and corruption and the hopelessness of having a one-party rule that allows for no decent check on power. And worse, it is, itself, racist as the immigrant is condemned to live, as American blacks are, on the Liberal plantation where they will languish in poverty, drugs, crime, disease, and exploitation of their cheap labor. The opportunities available to most of us are denied to the mired-in-poverty immigrant whether he lives in Toronto or New York or Los Angeles.

Media skeptic,

being someone born and raised in Canada, I disagree, and many, many other people do as well. Thankfully. Immigrants are not imported voters, and simply saying that Canada is becoming a third world country based on immigration is ethnocentric, derogatory, and a comment that gives value to the ethnicity and race of people to be judged against another individual.

People don't immigrate to another country to vote, and governments don't allow people into their country to vote. Learn about the history of Canada, The Durham Report consequently the model South Africa adopted.

A lot of cultures/races have had very, very difficult times. No one is arguing what American blacks or Canadian blacks have gone through, and the stratification still in society, even more so First nations people who, in my opinion, have been and still are on the bottom of society.

Unless your First Nations and live in the US, one of your ancestors immigrated. Immigrants don't make countries into third worlds. Developed countries with ~20% of the world's population using ~80% of the worlds resources make countires into third world countires.
